One fellowship position is available at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, USA, a Harvard affiliated teaching hospital. Brigham and Women’s Hospital is a 750+ bed hospital providing care for all specialties in medicine. The fellowship comprises 10 months of thoracic imaging and 2 months of cardiac imaging. The fellowship offers extensive training in all aspects of thoracic imaging and intervention including chest radiographs, CT, MRI, and lung biopsies. Our lung biopsy program is very busy with over 350 biopsies per year. As such, we are active participants in the care of patients with lung cancer, performing biopsies for genomic testing. We have close ties with our colleagues in Pulmonology and Thoracic Surgery in our newly formed Lung Center which deals with all diseases in the thorax, including interstitial lung disease, lung and esophageal cancer, mesothelioma, and mediastinal lesions (to name a few). The Radiology Department has state-of-the-art facilities and technologies. We have recently begun a lung cancer screening program.
