The Department of Radiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking a full time radiologist to join the Cardiopulmonary Imaging section. UAB is a state-of-the-art Academic Medical Center with a busy and lively clinical service consisting of six dedicated cardiopulmonary radiologists who are responsible for interpreting chest radiographs, chest CTs, cardiac CT & MR, in addition to performing thoracic interventional procedures. There is a very congenial, collaborative, and close relationship with cardiology, CV surgery, and pulmonary medicine with several interdisciplinary conferences, research collaboration, and teaching opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have keen clinical skills, and interested in actively participating in teaching, research, and service as well as interest in collaboration with other departments. Qualified applicants should be ABR-certified or eligible, have completed fellowship training or have proficient experience in cardiopulmonary imaging and must be eligible to practice medicine in Alabama.
