The Division of Cardiothoracic Radiology at the Veterans Administration Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS) is seeking a full-time cardiothoracic radiologist to join its experienced and innovative team.
The VAGLAHS is the largest integrated healthcare organization in the Department of Veterans Affairs. Candidates for this position must be ABR-eligible or ABR certified, fellowship trained in Cardiothoracic Radiology, and possess a current, full and unrestricted license to practice in a state, territory or commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia.
Clinical responsibilities include interpretation of chest radiographs, chest computed tomography (including coronary computed tomography angiography), and chest fluoroscopy.
Educational responsibilities include mentoring, supervising, and instructing University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Diagnostic Radiology Residents rotating through the division.
The candidate will be expected to obtain an academic appointment at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA (DGSOM at UCLA). Academic productivity will be expected to be commensurate with the requirements to maintain and advance in the University clinical or research track.
