Eligibility: Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology by ABR or equivalent. Foreign radiologists must have completed USMLE Parts 1, 2
Requirements: Completion of a 4-year radiology residency program.
Fellowship Program: The UNC thoracic imaging fellowship program provides experience in all aspects of thoracic radiology including thoracic nonvascular interventional procedures. The department runs a joint program with cardiology for the acquisition and interpretation of all cardiac CT and MRI examinations. The department has state-of-the-art equipment including MDCT scanners, MR scanners, CT PET and MR PET scanners.
