Progressive Physician Associates (PPA) is a large interdisciplinary private practice group that includes 45+ Diagnostic Radiologists, 10 Interventional Radiologists, 7 Vascular Surgeons and 8 Advanced Practitioners. PPA’s Diagnostic Radiologists are sub-specialized in Body imaging (including MRI, CT, Thoracic imaging and Ultrasound), MSK, Mammography, Neuroradiology, Nuclear Medicine/ PET, Pediatric Radiology, and Women’s Imaging. Our group consists of dynamic physicians, many with strong leadership skills, with a long and successful relationship with St. Luke’s University Health Network (SLUHN). PPA provides services to SLUHN, a growing regional network of soon to be 11 hospitals with physicians providing care primarily in Northeast Pennsylvania, and Western New Jersey. SLUHN Bethlehem Campus is a Level 1 trauma and tertiary care center. The Network continues to successfully expand and is currently caring for 240,000 patients/year at its’ multiple sites, with multiple residency programs, fellowship programs, and a medical school.
PPA is recruiting for a dynamic team-oriented fellowship-trained Chest/Thoracic Imaging Radiologist, to join our group and further build and foster relationships with our clinical colleagues, as well as contributing their expertise and innovation in the care for our patients. Our thoracic radiologists participate in a thriving, long-standing multidisciplinary Lung Screening Program, a weekly Lung Tumor Board conference, a quarterly Lung Disease Management conference and a new Interstitial Lung Disease conference. We also work closely with pulmonologists and thoracic surgeons to support joint clinical research projects.
We currently utilize a single integrated unified PACS and EPIC RIS for all of our campuses allowing seamless interpretation from all sites. Our department control center provides 24 hour support for our radiologists to help expedite communication with referring physicians. The department has state of the art imaging equipment, supplied by our imaging partner GE.
