New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medicine’s, Department of Radiology seeks a part-time or full-time faculty member for the Cardiothoracic Division. Interested individuals must have an M.D. degree, American Board of Radiology certification in Diagnostic Radiology, and possess fellowship training or similar experience in Cardiothoracic Imaging. Salary and fringe benefits are competitive.
Responsibilities would include a wide range of thoracic imaging including plain film, chest CT, chest MR imaging as well as PET CT (for primary thoracic malignancies). While cardiac imaging participation (CT and MRI) is available, it is not mandatory. The Division currently consists of six radiologists, three cardiologists and a Cardiothoracic Radiology Fellow. Candidates should have strong clinical and interpersonal skills as our workflow includes routine patient and referrer communication. A wide variety of pathology is encountered daily and there are a number of interdisciplinary conferences including Interstitial Lung Disease, Thoracic Oncology and Pulmonary Medicine.
