Boise Radiology Group is a subspecialized multi-disciplinary practice composed of 34 fellowship-trained radiologists and 4 PAs . We are expanding our practice by hiring a third full-time thoracic radiologist on a partnership tract. Ideal candidates will be thoracic or cardiothoracic fellowship trained and BE/BC. Daily work shifts are >90% thoracic imaging, covering a wide range of pathology (e.g., ILD, oncology, pediatric and adult congenital defects, myocardial disease, etc.) requiring high-level subspecialty expertise. CT screening, cardiac CT and MRI, TAVR, and PET/CT are performed routinely. A portion of the practice includes general evening, overnight, and weekend shifts, shared among the entire group. Most procedures are performed by PAs and dedicated IR radiologists. Our chest radiologists participate in multidisciplinary activities such as tumor boards, ICU conference, and pulmonary nodule committee, and have excellent working relationships with pulmonary, cardiology, oncology and thoracic surgery providers. This position includes a competitive compensation package, generous time off, retirement plans, and a relocation allowance. Ideal candidates will be thoracic or cardiothoracic fellowship trained or 4th year residents entering a thoracic or cardiothoracic fellowship in 2019 or 2020.
Boise ranks in top spots for Forbes’ best places to raise a family, best place for young professionals, best city to live in, and Idaho was the nation’s fastest growing state in 2017. Our radiologists and their families use time off to enjoy plentiful cultural and sporting opportunities, as well as nearby skiing, “out-your-back-door” hiking, biking, and other outdoor activities.
