The Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences at MUSC is seeking a board eligible/certified radiologist with expertise in cardiothoracic imaging for a full-time faculty appointment at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level.
MUSC Radiology provides an excellent working environment with a total of 38 residents and 15 fellowships. The Thoracic section has a close working relationship and continuous collaboration with outstanding pulmonologists, thoracic surgeons, oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and subspecialists in other fields of medicine. The Cardiac Imaging section has an exceptional relationship with the departments of cardiology and vascular surgery, and performs cardiac MRIs and cardiac CTAs.
Interdisciplinary conferences encompass a broad spectrum of comprehensive lung programs, including interstitial lung disease, COPD, lung cancer, lung cancer screening, and general pulmonary pathology. The cardiac imagers also participate in multidisciplinary conferences including multimodality-based case discussions.
The department offers state-of-the-art imaging equipment in CT, MR and PET/CT modalities, allowing for cutting-edge research in these imaging procedures.

Job Requirements: Applicants must be Board Certified (or eligible) in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology and have completed a Cardiothoracic Imaging Fellowship. Duties include clinical patient care, medical education of students and residents, interdisciplinary conferences, and scholarly activities. Applicant must obtain permanent South Carolina medical license prior to start of position.
