Cardiothoracic Radiologist – University of Florida
The Division of Cardiothoracic Imaging at the University of Florida seeks applicants for a full-time faculty position at the Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor level due to service growth. This is a 1.00 FTE, non-tenure-track position. The Division currently has five full- or part-time faculty.
The Division operates a high volume, high profile, and growing clinical practice with primary responsibilities for all adult chest radiographic, thoracic CT, lung cancer CT screening, and cardiovascular CT and MR imaging studies. The Division performs a robust number of imaged-guided thoracic interventions annually, including pulmonary ablations.
The Division is integral to Pulmonary Medicine, Thoracic Surgery, Oncology, and Interstitial Lung Disease multidisciplinary conferences and collaboration. In addition, the Division is productively engaged in diverse research and educational activities including mentorship, supervision and teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.
Candidates must be ABR-eligible or ABR-certified, have completed a Diagnostic Radiology residency and Cardiothoracic fellowship, and be qualified for medical licensure in the State of Florida. Ideal candidates will be competent to cover all aspects of thoracic and cardiac imaging in addition to thoracic intervention. Rank and academic track will be commensurate with candidate experience and credentials.
