Cardiothoracic Radiologist – University of Kentucky

The University of Kentucky seeks an exceptional radiologist for a full-time clinical faculty position in the Division of Cardiovascular & Thoracic Imaging. The successful candidate must have an MD degree or equivalent, be board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Radiology, and have subspecialty training or significant work experience in cardiothoracic radiology. Academic rank will depend on qualifications and experience.

UK HealthCare is consistently named the top hospital in Kentucky, and features a full complement of clinical services, including an active lung and heart transplant program. It is the only NCI-designated cancer center in the state, and is one of only 20 hospitals nationwide with Level I trauma certification for both adult and pediatric patients.

Experience interpreting both cardiac MRI and coronary CTA is preferred. Procedural skills are not required. You will be able to participate in multidisciplinary conferences, including our thoracic oncology program and our interstitial lung disease program. You will have ample opportunity for teaching residents, fellows, and medical students. Our division puts particular emphasis on collegiality and flexibility. You will have support to develop your career in your chosen direction.
