Temple Health seeks qualified applicants for a Cardiothoracic/Abdominal Imaging Radiologist to join a robust academic practice. The successful candidate will have experience in all aspects of Thoracic and Abdominal Imaging, including cross sectional imaging, cardiac imaging as well as CT, Ultrasound and MRI. Fellowship training in Cardiothoracic imaging or body imaging is required. Primary duties for this position will include interpreting chest imaging studies, including plain film, CT, and MRI.
The new faculty member will have opportunities to practice at Temple University Hospital (TUH), our large tertiary care center where we are consistently ranked one of the top Lung Transplant Programs in the country and Fox Chase Cancer Center, one of the premiere NCI Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the country, as well as smaller community hospital settings including the TUH Jeanes campus, NEC and Episcopal campuses.
Our selected candidate will join a highly collegial team of over 40 faculty member, two radiology residency programs with a total of 26 trainees (16 Diagnostic and 10 Interventional/Diagnostic) and 12 to 15 medical students are assigned to radiology rotations each month. These clinical rotations are bolstered by a didactic curriculum. Excellent opportunities also exist for engagement in research and scholarly activity. Our team regularly presents at national meetings with our motivated residents.
