2024 – 2025 UCSF Cardiothoracic Imaging Fellowship

The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the University of California San Francisco is accepting applications to the Cardiothoracic Imaging fellowship position(s) from June 2024 to July 2025.  UCSF is a high-volume quaternary referral center which offers the full spectrum of cardiothoracic care and receives patients from across the nation and globe. As a result, fellowship trainees gain exposure to diverse pathology and a high volume of thoracic CT (including HRCT for interstitial lung disease and lung transplant), cardiac CT (including coronary CTA), cardiac MRI (including pediatric and adult congenital heart disease MRI), and lung/mediastinal biopsies.  The fellowship program has a long history of training several of the world’s foremost experts in the field of cardiothoracic imaging and leaders in the field of radiology. Opportunities to engage in academic pursuits are available to trainees who are interested. Fellowship trainees have an average of one academic day per week to use however they see fit and past fellows have used this unique benefit to engage in academic work, observe procedures, develop lectures, and more. Upon completion of the fellowship program, trainees will be fully prepared to enter and excel in any practice setting, whether academic or private. Prerequisites include ability to secure a California medical license and American Board of Radiology eligible or certified status.

Interested applicants should contact fellowship coordinator Sora Kang at sora.kang@ucsf.edu.
