STR 2023 Resident Bootcamp

The fifth annual STR Resident Bootcamp is scheduled for Sunday, March 5 at the Charleston Place Hotel in Charleston, SC. Once again, this is FREE! Our program is great for trainees of all levels, including junior radiology residents, senior radiology residents, and even fellows will learn something new. Our first session is devoted to lung cancer, ranging from detection on CXR and CT to staging and treatment. The second session reviews important non-clinical skills: understanding surprisingly tricky terms like sensitivity and specificity, learning how to communicate with patients and providers, obtaining informed consent, and the habits of highly successful trainees. Our final session covers cardiovascular disease, with an emphasis on valvular and coronary artery disease.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided. In-person attendees are also invited to attend the afternoon session of the STR annual meeting, and the Welcome Reception on Sunday evening which allows for incredible networking opportunities. We look forward to seeing you in Charleston!
